Notes from the dealer
2009 Ford F-150 Crew Cab 2WD can absolutely make a good truck especially if you get one thats been well maintained and in good condition. Heres a balanced look at what owners and reviewers say about it as a used vehicle:⢠Fuel economy isnt great: Around the mid-teens mpg, which is typical for a full-size truck of this age but low by todays standards.Bottom line: A well-maintained 2009 Ford F-150 Crew Cab 2WD can be a very good, dependable truck, particularly for everyday use, hauling, and work just inspect the engine type, maintenance history, and condition. If its clean with good service records, people often praise it as a solid choice in the older full-size truck market.

WOW
by MR FORD on Tuesday, April 08, 2025
This is the best truck I have ever owned! Last year for this model: it has a "steel body" and a 6-speed transmission—which is AWSOME! I got it with the 5.0 COYOTE engine,4X4 which is faster than my last Corvette. It is an absolute joy to drive! But, you might think a truck with an engine that big gets bad mileage. Well, I'm happy to report that this truck gets 20 to 24 MPG, so I'm happy on that score as well. - 5.0
Reliability and Longevity
by Dan A on Sunday, May 11, 2025
Most reliable truck I've ever owned. Very minimal repairs outside of regular maintenance. Less than $1500 since new. With almost 339k miles on the truck now I still wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country. Smooth ride. Plenty of power to tow and haul. I'm looking for another of the same truck with less miles.
